About the Journey

Christopher Columbus called it the golden coast. Stronger Than Wind invites you to turn your dream into reality and discover nature in full glory on a challenging, hands on and indulgent jeep tour.

Dense rainforests and cloud forests, an enormous variety of wildlife, wild beaches and active volcanoes. On our tour we will watch crocodiles, chat with troops of monkeys, glide like Tarzan from tree to tree and walk hanging bridges between the clouds and the ground.

A self-drive 4X4 off-road tour through Costa Rica's loveliest nature reserves: Monteverde, Manuel Antonio, Rio Celeste, La Paz Waterfalls, Poas Volcano, La Fortuna and Nauyaca Falls

Round trip flight ticket
Real 4X4 jeeps, automatic transmission, self-drive
Fuel for the jeeps for every day of the tour
Hotels of excellent tourist grade
Full board: breakfasts and dinners at the lodging and in restaurants, lunches laid out in the field, hosted by locals or in restaurants
Coffee and tea spreads in the field, treats and snacks all along the way
Bottled mineral water for every traveler (up to 1.5 liters per day)
Two way radios for communication between the jeeps

The Price Does Not Include

Personal adventure travel insurance (required)
Jeep deductible waiver insurance (about 50 EUR/USD per week)
Soft drinks, alcohol and any activity not included in the itinerary
Tips for the guiding team

Important to Know

Self-drive, a valid Israeli driver's license is required.
Four participants per jeep, two participants per double room, up to 20 participants in a group.
Departure is subject to a minimum of 12 participants.
The route may change according to instructions from the authorities, weather and field conditions, and is subject to the guide's discretion.
The full, detailed itinerary is sent in writing to registered travelers.
Connecting flight, a biometric passport valid for at least six months from the tour date is required.
Departure is subject to a minimum of 16 participants.
